Faqster

Automate FAQ creation and maintenance! Just use h4 tags for the questions, any other html for the answers. Faqster creates a list of the questions at the top, with links to the questions and answers below.

You get to use your favorite html tools to create the documents. You don't have to worry about creating or maintaining the links. You focus on the quality of the content. Faqster does the drudgery.

Also of note, there's a built-in template for the formatting, but you can specify an external script that you can customize to your heart's desire -- if you know a little bit of Perl. You gotta know enough Perl to include variables in a print statement. (You probably know someone who knows that much Perl.)

You can see a sample faq file, and then take a look at the source file.

Right now it doesn't handle dividing the questions into sections, but I'll add that soon.

The question is whether you think a program like this would be valuable to you, or if you already have tools for this.

Let me know if you have any comments.

Thanks,

John Robert
